Cebora pocket mig 130

Hi all, I have a cebora pocket mig 130 which i have had since around 1995. Ive always had trouble with it wether it be my fault or the welder itself!!!
The problem im having now is that the wire is sticking in the tip after welding, sometimes the torch is live and the other thing is that the the wire slips on the feeder roller.
It has its moments when it welds brilliantly, but not for long!
I mainly do mot work on cars and ill tack patches on but when it comes to gettig a run this is when the trouble starts.
It has had a brand new torch and harness which was fitted at the start of the year which cost around£90.
My dad has been a welder since he was 16 and is now in his 60's and his comments about this welder turn the air blue1
I am thinking of buying a bigger welder with a eurotorch ive been looking at a siegen 180 on ebay are these any good? Or would i be better trying to fix the cebora?

Siegen 180? This one? The cheaper end of the Sealey series, perhaps.
Goes down to 30A for thinner metal,, top output duty cycle rather poor, only 15% at 145A suggests there's not much left when you get to 180A...

I have heard of problems with the wire feed on these, on here I think; just do a search in the box for some old threads on Siegens.

Mains power intake quite high, so you will need at least a 16A dedicated circuit for it, perhaps more.

You might be better off looking for a decent s/h m/c that takes/needs a eurotorch?

Decided to get some new parts first, got a couple of shrouds and some new tips. Fitting a new shroud got rid of the live torch and now it welds much better! Im still having problems with the wire sticking in the tip though. I think i might purchase a feed roller and a tensioner after all ive had the machine since 1995 from new so it dosent owe me anything, and its cheaper than a new welder!!!
I did have a look at some problems with the siegen and i dont think its worth getting one.

I'd change the torch liner too.

For the sake of £8 i think i will, bit dissappointed though as the complete torch was replaced at the start of the year and cost me £90!
