if you still have the bits plastic weld them back .thats all i done with mine an it s working fine

I took the wire feed unit off to make a repair or replace.

This picture shows the damaged bit of plastic that has snapped off.
I have not had success trying to plastic weld with a soldering iron, also I doubt that if this part is plastic welded that it will retain enough strength as its under some pressure.

I hate to bring back an old dead thread but i am in need of this same part and cant seem to find one anywhere.
Anyone point me in the right direction, or have you used a feed assembly out od a different machine with any success?

You could try the link in post number 3, ah just noticed as I was typing that you are in USA
Maybe super glue piece back on then some very small self tappers through from the back to secure.

I have already used plastic weld epoxy on it once. when I got the welder someone had super glued it, then sold it that way first time I tried to use it, it fell apart. after epoxy I have used it for several years. When I went to use it the other day and it broke again. thru my searches I found a guy that had his for sale and he had the same problem and he had fit an assembly from a different welder into it. so I have a new assembly on the way. I should be back up and welding next week.

this is the same one the guy had adapted into his welder. its 12V and should fit nicely and be an upgrade to what was in there I'll post pictures as I go.

Good to see you have found something that should work.
One point to watch for even though most of that new unit is plastic, do check that none of the metal parts are shorting the weld voltage to the frame of the machine. As I say unlikely with a plastic unit but the motor may come in a different location and touch.
On machines that have a metal feed assembly they would have insulation washers (nylon) to stop it shorting. Also worth checking/measuring the positioning of the original unit in-case you need to shim the new one to align.

And thats all it takes, cut it out a little, drill some holes. Welds better than ever.
