Cebora sound synergic pulse 2035/m

I've just bought the above welder and pick it up on friday, I've been after a pulse mig for ages for my ally machine repairs so was over the moon when I found it in eBay. No one bid on it and I won it for £750, these machines are £2800 new!

After reading up on it however, it says to use the Cebora push pull torch to activate the pulse settings stored in the machine. The welder only comes with a standard mig torch. I don't mind buying one if I need it but would another push pull torch activate the settings as the cebora push pull torch is £1000 and a Technical Arc push pull torch is only £500!

Cebora certainly know how to charge! However, I am fairly certain that you can activate pulse modes by selecting the correct program number. You should have a sheet of program numbers inside the access door. Try selecting one of the pulse settings and see how you go.
You cannot fit another push-pull type torch and expect to activate a particular program, as there is some trickery inside Ceboras torches that tell the power source what to do.
If you cannot find the program sheet, try contacting Wilkinson Star sales on 0161 728 7900 and they *may* fax/email you one.

Hi Dave sorry for the late reply,

I've rang wilkinson star and I'm taking the machine into them and their going to show me how to use it. I feel daft taking it but I don't understand the jargon in the manual and not sure if I'm using the correct settings!! Their only round the corner from me too and said they hopefully be able to show me one the push pull torches while I'm there

I to just got my hands on a cebora 2035m, down here in new Zealand it is very hard to get information on how to use this machine, I have like yourself read the manual but i'm more confused now lol, if you do manage to find out about operating this machine would you be king enough to share it with me, many thanks

Cebora 2035 / m pulse

are these a good machine ,lay down a smooth weld,trying to choose this single pulse over double pulse machine in the single phase range ,options are limited

It is a brilliant machine although had my budget allowed I would of got a double pulse. Maybe in the future I will get one but for now I am more than happy with this one. Get the push/pull torch to make life easier too. I only ever use it for ally so cant comment on other metals but it is more than likely going to be an all round brilliant machine. Over here in the UK it is a recognised machine within the automotive industry.
