Cebora Stag 186 PCB Transformer

To the sparkies out there...
The 24v transformer on the wire feed PCB has blown on my 186.
Does anyone know where I can obtain either another board or 24v transformer.

HZ50/60 (this is AC frequency)
COD.5600604 (No idea what this is I'm guessing it's the part no')
P-V-220-240 (input/primary voltage)
S-V-27 (output/secondary voltage)
P-N-5 (No idea what this is)
CLASSE.B T40 (type of winding, shielding and insulation)

5Va is more than enough and RS transformers will fit. Although the original says 27V output, 24V will do you as it is only used for the electronics and auxilliray relays. Note that original has 220V input: Ignore this as it's only for other countries - 240V primary will do nicely.

I just picked up a Cebora Stag 186, 50 quid, hasnt run for a year or so but at that price i took a chance, find out at the weekend if its a runner! comes with a brand new coil of wire as well!

Bit of a long shot seen as you haven't been online since 2012.... But did you ever sort this? Exact same thing has happened to mine and was wondering what like for like transformer will fit?

The transformer I use is from RS Components (www.rswww.com). Part number is 504 515 and it's showing as in stock at £6.70 inc VAT. I believe you can pay by card but I don't kow if there is carriage on one-off purchases as we order quite a bit and get carriage free. It's a 240 Volt input with 2 X 24V 3Va outputs, which could be wired in parallel if you need the full 6Va but I've never needed that for the repairs that I've done. From memory, the pins are different spacings to the original, so you'll need to drill a few 1.0mm holes and play with the PCB tracks to get it connected. This isn't difficult but you need to get it right. If you're not comfortable with soldering and modifying the pcb connections, it's worth finding a mate who is.
