Ive been respraying a car door with a new colour to match(ish) the colour on the car.
I started off with a red door covered in transfers.
I've removed all these and then panel wiped the whole door.
Let it dry and then wet'n'dry'd the door prior to a coat of primer or 2.
I then wet'n'dry'd the primer and applied two top coats which is now due for a fine sand before i hang the door.
Do i need use a laquer/clear coat on the paint to protect it from scratches etc?
Thanks.
