Changing oil

Hi I got new compressor and am wanting to change the oil. Its a pacini 100l 3hp.
In the manual it says "motor oil is extracted and poured through the crankcase breather hole".

On my previous one there was a nut you'd remove on the crankcase breather and it was simple.

The hole to put oil in it is about half an inch wide so how am I supposed to extract oil through that lol
There's no drain plug too be seen anywhere

use a vaccum pump

Get a modern version of one of theses oil syringes.



Then a simple case of a funnel and refill.

Tilt the compressor on its side?

What about the screw at the bottom of the crankcase, just above the ratings plate?

only if u drop it just get it tipped over otherwise there will be about 50 posts on how to do a simple job a week later

Not the Pacini, per se, but using the screw I alluded to earlier. It might have an Allen key fitting in the centre.

Or one of those rubber manual fuel primer things works ok once you get it going

There's a bolt just below the oil level sight glass on the Pacini pictures of the compressor. Take it out and put something under it to catch the oil.
