Cheap 2k Clears

Are cheap 2k clears really that bad? Considering that I normally spray 1k lacquer, are they going to be even worse than a good 1k lacquer in terms of durability and shine?

I get a finish I'm happy with from the gun so don't flat back, so would be expecting to take the same approach with 2k clear. i.e. maybe just a buff.

Clear in question is Kapci 9999. I use HMG or U-Pol 1k lacquers.

Kapci is ok, not one of the best but its ok and should stand up ok

Thanks, good to know. It's almost as cheap as the 1k for the kit inc thinners, and it won't be used for panels on a show car, just bits and wheels.

I use their high build. Good stuff.
