Cheap 2K painting

The negative effects of exposure to 2K paints are generally recognised as being cumulative, so there is certainly a need for pro sprayers to use costly air fed masks.

However for anyone doing a one off job and wanting to avoid the poor results and hard work related to using cellulose materials, this should provide all the protection thats required: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Soviet-Russia...Collectables_Militaria_LE&hash=item2a11c12368

So cheap its possible to use once then throw away, and the amount of work and aggravation saved by using 2K over cellulose, will pay for it several times over in one car respray.

The consultants fees are around 150-200 pounds to see a good respiratory physician for ten minutes after 4 visits thats the guts of 800, plus hope you have health insurance, after a couple of hospital day cases, ct scans x rays on your lungs plus scopes down the nose its around 1200-1500 a day case.

An air fed mask set up is only 250 quid

I've heard of people using the air tank fire fighting equipment, is this a more cumbersome yet equally effective for 2k?

Exactly JayKay.......It still amazes me that some individuals KEEP giving dangerous and stupid "advice" on this subject. Someone could get seriously hurt taking on board what has been said in the first post.
