A few people were looking for a cheap compressor, I think Brokenbiker was one.
I was in my local Lidl today & they were having one of their 'Weekend Sales'
Basically they open up an extra section of the store and stock it with surplus stock at greatly reduced prices. I picked up a few sets of axle stands at £5 a pair.
They also had a few 3hp 50 litre compressors at £80 or £90, half normal price with a 3 year warranty! I have one of their 25 litre ones & it's served me well.
Not sure if it's in all stores but worth a look.
