I rather like that. How stable is it on the small(ish) base?

After a really nice table myself. Have some seriously nice chess pieces which I’ve had for over 30 years, made of pewter.

I’ve also wondered about making some pieces in stainless. Wouldn’t need much more than a lathe and mill. Chemically black half of them. Would be a bit different.

Very stable, it’s base is a car brake disc, I’m putting it on gum tree Wednesday. The stem is a cam shaft
