As my kids find my obsession with my welder highly amusing I told them they would be getting welded presents this year - & I'm not joking!
My son, thinking he was funny requested a T shirt!
I don't want to disappoint him.....but don't really know where to start with this!
Any ideas would be welcomed but it needs to be easy & I want him to be able to put it on!

You could make a simple single out of thin bars spot welded together or you could go mad and make something like this.

some where on the forum there is a thread where someone shaped metal with a preasure washer that could give you some ideas?

I was thinking something along the lines of your picture but couldn't work out where to hinge it if it had a back too? perhaps if I do it more like a vest @ put hinges on one side??

Working away tomorrow but i'll get in the garage on Tuesday & make a start on something!
