Clamp storage

Anyone got a good solution for G clamp storage? Currently they are all in a box, under the bench. Looking for a more organised way, to store them, without using a lot of space.

Just screw some 2x2 or similar to a wall and clamp em on.

Mine too are clamped to a shelf above the bench.

If you have enough headroom, you could screw a length of timber to the ceiling and clamp the clamps to it.

Mine are currently stored using the 'clamped above the workbench' method, all well and good but I have stabbed my head on the longer ones now and again so will also be interested in creative storage.

Mine are clamped to a plywood extension on the end of a racking unit I made a few years ago. It’s cold damp and miserable in my workshop. No clamp has ever fallen off

I've got a length of old conduit mounted about 6" from the wall with them all hanging on it, not risking the frozen path to get a pic though

I have beams in my workshop and all sorts of tooling and clamping stuff resides there.... and as above, fart oo cold to go take pictures

I have a mobile work benchas with a tool box underneath and a shelf at the back of that . Then I have a bit of box and i have the clamps on that . The down side is i have to a just them each time I use them

All my clamps are on a bar attached to the legs of welding bench, out the way, but easy to grab when needed.

I have a 6ft wooden shelf unit where all the paints, varnishes, glues and sundry liquids live. I've just screwed a bunch of 100mm screws up and down the side of the uprights and the clamps are all swivelling on the screws.

I clamp mine to the wooden lifting beam, over the bench. never had one drop or fall off yet.

The long speedy clamps are also good to hang small parts as they dry.

Same here as a lot of others. I just clamp mine onto whatever length of wood I'm closest to at the time.

Everything under a foot is in the draws, over that is in the barn hanging up ( to cold so no pics )

Mine are on a bar fixed between the bench legs, I wouldn't like the idea of having the combined weight of 30 plus clamps nipped onto a shelf edge above head height, just one of my big carvers falling on you would definitely spoil your day, let alone a shelf full.

Axminster had a sale on their clamp stand a couple of months ago. I was going to weld one up but was tight for time and at 30 quid was just about worth it.

I got the eldest to search the workshop for clamps, she found some I didn't know I had

I wonder if there will ever be a day when @8ob hasn't got a green drawer full of the items in discussion. I reckon I could spend the entire day in there just opening drawers .

I dread to think what that drawer of Carver clamps would cost to replace today.
