Clarke 130TE

Hi All. My first post. I'm looking for a what the switches do my Clarke 130TE welder. None of the manuals I have found cover this particular welder.

Switch 1 Positions 1 and A
Switch 2 Positions 2 and 3
Switch 3 Positions Min Max.

The voltage out range from 17 to 27 but they don't seem to correspond to actual weld power.

Any suggestions?

pretty much the same as my 155te, though mine has min and max and a switch 1,2 or 3.

so from lowest min1,
min2
min3
max1
max2
to highest max3

also wire feed will need to be set for right wire feed speed in relation to the power setting you have it set to.

and i would guess if your using setting 2 or 3.

then switch 1 or A would be in the A position.

You can make your own chart of voltages by putting a meter set to 50V DC across the tip and the work return (earth) clamp. Loosen the wire feed rolls to save wasting wire then check the voltage for each combination of switches while pulling the trigger, make a reference table from the results.
Some of the manuals have the voltage tables wrong, mine included

Thanks Robotstar5 . I have done that what I found was the welding was not consistent with the voltages. I was wondering if one of the switches was an inductance control instead. That would confuse the voltages.
