Hi all,
I bought a Clarke se37c270nd compressor for my workshop as I'm renting and didn't want to install 3phase. I repair cars mostly.
Now given max volume of air of 36cfm @150 psi I was under the impression that I would be able run my devilbiss gti pro that requires 14cfm @ 38psi, which it does, just.
I run a filter and small water trap which I've removed temporarily to see if I can improve pressure at gun. Marginal improvment (2-3psi).
I run a reduction from 3/4 approx 1m to 1/2 to 1/4bsp 5m.
Could it be improved by simply increasing diameter of pipe to the tool ie 1/2bsp hardline then 1/4bsp tap?
Surely it doesn't account for a 110psi drop over 6m. I appreciate volume would be reduced but if anything pressure would go up??
This my first "proper" compressor so am I being dim or is there a fault with the compressor?
Many thanks.
NB
