clear coat over polished milled steel?

Is it possible to clear coat over polished milled steel?

I’ve made some pedals and they look to good to cover up with paint
I’m going to post some pics of them in projects in a sec

Just wasn’t shore if it would bond to a smooth surface

the surface will be smooth to touch but rough on a larger scale (hope that makes sense)

yep it dose once i have the spacer welded on il give it a go

Yes you can. mist it on first to give it a key, then it`ll go on fine.
The actual pedals themselves might be a chellenge, as the clear will wear off in fairly short order.

yeh but it will nomater what coating i use wish i made them out of stainless now lol

the top of the peddle will wear off but so will the rust!
