Looking for 6ft lengths to redo the green house roof

Where’s the cheapest place to get them?

prices seem to have doubled since I last bought any

Unless you need the corrugated to match in with what’s there, the 10mm twin wall is better

We got some good quality clear corrugated sheets from eroofs last year, can't comment on service life as it's not a year old yet, but seems OK.

A friend of ours installed clear PVC corrugated panels on the roof of her garden/work shed, and acorns falling from the tall oaks broke little holes in them. I'd spend a little extra and get clear polycarbonate corrugated panels, which are more impact resistant, and have some other advantages as well, although they may scratch easier.

Or if you want better insulation value, use polycarbonate twin- or triple-wall panels...more money, but very nice.

That stuff came from buildbase but screwfix carry the shorter sheets.

I'd personally avoid Twinwall. Once water gets in the space they go green and nasty and you cannot clean them out.

If you only need a few then try wickes, they do polycarbonate and the cheap stuff(avoid).

i like yours but i wouldnt have done it that way as i would have used it in lengths and then i could drip out the next layer until i got to the top

I have a double car port which is just under 30 years old. The clear, plastic, corrugated sheet (which gets quite a lot of sun) is in really good shape. Cannot name a supplier as the whole thing came as part of a kit.

I have the same, 19 years old now in full sun and perfect

Why?

its because they go brittle and with the sunlight heat and expansion they can crack

there fine in a flat profile but rounded they can crack and give without warning and spring back with a little force due to the curve in them

Only reason I said the twinwall was ‘better’ is that he wants it for a greenhouse. The twinwall amplifies the greenhouse effect.

That contraption pictured was 27 all day yesterday

Nothing wrong with corrugated - got it on the workshop roof to let the light in. Horses for courses and all that.
