Clearing out my grandads garage - parafin lamps.

Hi guys gals and them's

So it's been a long slog but finally getting to the last bits of my grandads garage and we've stumbled across some paraffin lamps.

I'm really just after ideas of what to do with them, are they all complete (apart from 1 glass missing), what there values could be, if there worth restoring or leaving as is.
I never saw them used and no idea how long he's had them or where he got them from.
But what I do know is that there's people on here that seem to know their stuff and may shed some light on the subject (no pun intended)
There's 2 model 300x bialaddin, 1 with no glass, and a 3rd lamp that looks newer but no obvious markings.

Tilley lamps have a big fan base, and some proper nerds, do some research before selling them, little details matter.

The blow torches are worth between £3 to £15.
Clean them up and use E bay for a average price, based on the name.

The pressure lamps, a whole new ball game.
The missing glass and damage is the killer. Due to the cost of putting right.

I used to fix them and give to local scouts. It's a shame as you often have to butcher one to save another. I have kept a Chrome Tilley as you can no longer get them new and its just a nice thing.

Yes they did, as it indicated that the item was government owned.

The MOD is a merger of the the 3 forces and civil defence.
Even some GPO gear had the crows foot.
The NHS did not.

Abit more than that - you missed out the RAE, RWE, RNAD? All civilian, but signatories of the official secrets act.

Exactly hence the AM, the mark is actually a broad arrow, a symbol of government property since at least 1600 and frozen to death.

Last time I spoke with Tilley the Chap who did the chroming had retired and they had no one to do it?

They look to be Tilley and BiAlladin lamps, two different makes. They seem to fetch £20 upwards depending on condition round here.
