The 3018 routers are entry level CNC. Will engrave brass and ally at a push.
Ade Swash did quite a nice intro to these recently.
I keep thinking about getting one but have too many distractions as it is.
Get a Snapmaker, you'll have a 3 in 1 machine, 3D-printing cnc-carving and laser cutting/marking. At least the CNC carving bit would be a good candidate for manual programming.
