You can't MAG weld with Pure argonAnd what is the price of argon maybe just get that?

Is CO2 a bi product of Ammonia production Dale? They shut the CF fertiliser plant at Ince near chester for good earlier this year, it had been shut down since last Sept anyway because of the gas prices. They had a CO2 plant on site there, but it was run by air liquide on a subcontract basis - the CO2 plant at CF Teesside was operated and run by CF themselves.
The guys that worked at Ince reckoned that probably had a part to play in the decision to shut the Ince facility down - the Teeside CO2 plant was more profitable to them than the one at Ince.

Yeah - I don’t know the full ins and outs of the process (I used to work there occasionally on their controls systems) but it’s basically a by product of what they produce at CF. They had 4 main plant areas there - NPK, nitric acid, ammonia and another one who’s name escapes me now - the CO2 was siphoned off one or more of those products and piped up to the air liquide place (On the same site just in its own little compound) where it was pressurised and bottled. Is CO2 a bi product of Ammonia production Dale?
that aint all bad£4.23 on top of each bottle plus vat presumably

(The Teeside plant (Billingham) is the one that the gov't did a deal with to re-start CO2 production after we nearly ran out of it in Sept 2021)
