Been reading about this DBC 500. Anyone used it, is it any better than a light coat of clear?

Think it's like SG100, supposed to be less film build than your normal 1k clear? I'm too tight for HoK so just use normal 1k or 2k clear... interested to hear any benefits and if worth the price. Hard to find info from non-HoK junkies...

HOK clear is pretty crap to be honest, Maxiclear & Acrifan 2000 are way better and cheaper too.
