compressor and filter options

Ok so I have a few options just want to know what would be best and why,

I have a 50L V and a 100L belt driven compressor and have just picked up my 3 stage filter for spraying and air fed mask,

So is it going to be better if I link the 2 compressors together and run one or both of them

or use them seperatly one for spraying and one for breathing

I think I am leaning towards linking them up and running the belt driven

The air fed mask has the belt where you split the air supply to mask and gun anyway that way I only need to run 1 air line out and all the air will be clean

It depends on the volume of air your mask requires to operate and the volume of air your spraygun requires.

run them both coupled then its a constant balanced supply for both

So both going into my copper cooling pipe work then onto the filters.

I do too usually not the cheapest option and the QR connectors are not genuine PCL either

so I linked the compressors together today but houston we have a problem the pressure relief valve on the smaller one goes of way before the bigger 100L compressor has reached full, so is there anything I can do other than run the smaller one?

You're going to need a couple of non return valves and may be adjust the pressure switches.

obviously the smaller one that blows off is at a lower pressure. what pressure do both compressors cut out at

1 non return valve would probably do it

the smaller one cuts out at 100psi the bigger at 150psi

looking for NRVs now I am leaning towards just screwing one into the front of the receiver that way i could use the little compressor else where if need be. can any one recomend me a NRV please? I think it is a 3/4" blank but ill take it out and check tomorrow

pressure cut off valve or pressure release valve ?

if it's the pressure release valve, just swap it for a higher pressure one?

odd it's blows off at only 100psi, what does the compressor build up to before it cuts out normally ?

pressure release valve like I said. it wouldnt be a problem if it just cut out the other compressor would fill it up to the 150psi its a small 50l clarke one the plate is stamped rated to 8 bar. I could swap it out for a higher rated one

he states cutout pressure is 100 psi and 150 on the larger one so the smallest safety valve will blow a few psi higher if the pressure switch fails
