Compressor and gun?

Hi Everone, Q: just got my first compressor
• Motor: 3HP Twin
• Air displacement: 14.1CFM
• Drive system: Belt
• Twin cylinder
• BRUSHLESS MOTOR TECHNOLOGY
• 230V 13A - Will run on home power supply
• Tank Capacity: 90 litre
• Max Pressure: 10bar (145psi)

Now i was looking at
DeVilbiss FLG5 Compliant Solvent Spraygun and requirments are Air Consumption: only 9.8 cfm now on the compressor cannot find what the FAD Free Air Delivery is.....SO do you think my compressor will be ok for the gun? Sorry but i'm a welder and this is my first dadble into this field...thanks all

I have FLG-5 gun and 230V 50 litre compressor and it's totally fine, so I wouldn't expect any problems from that combo.

thanks TwoThumbs how you find the gun? would you still have bought it or somthing other based on the price of the Gun

I like the gun a lot and would recommend getting one. I have also one cheaper gun but DeVilbiss is in different league, spray pattern and end results are much nicer.

TheGunman in now raving about a newer low and gun from DeVilbiss, don't remember the name offhand but by all accounts is better than the FLG5. I have 2 FLG5s, a 1.4 and a 1.8 and am reasonably happy with them, still get some orange peel but that's probably me not the gun.

If you plan to use an air fed mask you will need much more capacity.
