Compressor for ally repairs

Hi Guys..

I have started working on Aluminium classic bike repairs, i am repairing alot of cylinder head fins with a 6" air grinder, does anyone no the ideal size compressor to use?

14 cfm minimum i would say, probly more would be better

Yeah thats great, was going for 150litre air but been advised to go electric would you agree?

Unless you have other uses for air then an electric grinder is probably the way to go.
Air grinders are just like a big air leak so you need a big unit to run them properly.
Best way is to get 2 14 CFM belt drives and run them together for the grinder and just one when there is lower demand. You can get tandem compressors but they tend to cost alot more than 2 individuals.

What kind of money do these go for? was looking at around £500 to play with,

Only 10CFM for the both of them. I'd personally go for 1 big compressor with a bigger tank, then you can add to that later.
