Compressor will not run, n
i bought a start capacitor for it, but that didn't solve the issue.
I did try what you suggested and it didn't make any attempt to go either.
From working through the diagram, i am getting voltage where there should be(or at least where i think it should be)
There is voltage to the starting capacitor, i disconnected the two black wires from the run capacitor and joined together, then removed the brown from the run capacitor to verify the centrifugal switch is closed and sending power.
I think I am misinterpreting something here, because to me, even if centrifugal switch wasn't closed, there would still be power at the start capacitor from brown cable?
Can some of the electrical guys on here advise?
