Compressor Pressure switch smashed

Just wanted some advice bought a compressor with a broke pressure switch the black box on top of the compressor been told its not very simple to change £25 part but if i get an engineer out to swap it will be £160

Has anyone fixed one before changed it out?

If it's the standard type £15-£20 should get you a new one, easy enough to fit, the only tricky bit would be the thin pipe connected to the unloader valve.

Can we have a photo of the switch & compressor so we know exactly what we're dealing with.

Done loads, if you can wire a plug you can change that! Take photo's of connections before you start.
