Compressor Set up and other assistance

Hello,
I have a 2hp single phase set up with a tank 150L. The original air filter was broken off and the aluminium housing has gone. So first request is a recommendation for a suitable filter on the intake side.

I can't house the compressor outside, too near neighbours etc

I plan to make a grinding (Linisher, Clarkson tool cutter, bench grinder, angle grinders ect) and desktop blasting box, separated off from the rest of the workshop and I am thinking of housing the compressor in there. This area and a small separate paint booth will have some extraction, yet to be designed ..but I am concerned with there being enough airflow to supply the compressor and the extraction.

Output side of the compressor I need guidance on getting the air suitable for painting and supplying the blasting box, this would be for hobby use not in an industrial setting ..so costs are relevant but I do go with the adage buy cheap by twice

I have acquired one of these and it looks unused and has a 40 micron filter fitted

I'm no expert, but I can tell you what works well for me.

I built an air cooler out of copper pipe, just a simple rising zig zag run in 28mm with a ball valve drain at the low point over 12m or so. Compressors connect to this using short rubber hoses.
This cooler then goes into a ring main which pipes around the workshop using JG plastic pipe with water trap T's and drops to filter regulators (good makes such as watts, norgren, parker etc) at the bottom of each drop is another drain ball valve.

On the compressors I've fitted ball valves on the tank drains and vented them outside. I make it a habit to give the tank drains a quick blast when I'm passing which is much easier to do when you are not crawling around looking for a bleed valve.

I get a little water out of the cooler drain, and the filters on the regulators are always bone dry.
Done plenty of spraying and run an ~18cfm blast cabinet, tyre machine and various air tools, never see any water in the air even when both compressors are running flat out.

make sure there's plenty of air space around the comp, they can get quite hot....that's if u put under the bench..ALSO make sure it's gettable for oil level checks etc.....
as for the intake filter, mentioned on here before cobble something up to take a car type paper filter...
u'll find a nice separate plastic unit (Fiesta etc etc) that will be easy to tube up....it doesn't have to be attached to the compressor.....but remember u'll need to move everything once in a while to change the oil and sweep up....
