Compressor switch

Hi,
On a Clarke Raider 60 compressor the switch box has broken. The screw that holds the grey plastic box down has broken leaving the box just rattling around.
You can still push the red button to turn it off and it comes back on OK. It switches off at the set pressure too.

Where could I buy a new plastic box or do I need the new mechanism too?

Bit unsure but need to replace the parts as it is sold now.

Just search ebay for "compressor switch" I paid about a tenner for the whole thing.

Ideally I just want to swap the covers over.
I don't want to unplumb anything.

This might fit but would just the cover?
Not sure what ampage of switch to buy as it needs to be 100% compatible.

I think I have a spare cover kicking about in the garage that you're welcome to if you want it. I have no idea if it'll fit properly, but it looks about the same. PM me your address if you want it...

That is very kind. I think I will get a whole new switch for the buyer and hope he can just swap the cover and keep the rest spare.

I think after I ran it up to pressure and it automatically turned off I may have pressed the button down. Can it be lifted manually without the cover and red button so it will come back on again when the pressure is down far enough?

Further to my other thread I will need a new switch housing (just the plastic bits, the actual switch is fine) for a sold compressor:

If I bought this would I be able to unscrew the housing a simply screw it on to the Clarke original supplied one currently fitted?

I spoke to Clarke today who said the switch might be off the shelf but still curious as to if this one's plastic cap will fit the Raider 60.

You have two choices you buy and if it fits it fits,if it doesn't you replace the whole unit with it.

I was looking at these type of pressure switches myself for making up a compressor,I found there are cheaper sellers on ebay for that pressure switch,some even selling it for £8.50.

That switch seems to be common for a lot of compressors.
