Connect Pressure Pot to Clarke Blasting Cabinet

I recently bought a cheap generic 20 gallon blasting pot, I already have a Clarke SB30 blasting cabinet and I'm trying to work out the best way of combining the two; the supplied hose for the pot is too rigid to use in the cabinet and connecting the pot to the cabinets suction type gun just seems like a recipe for disaster!

Probably a very simple question but I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to blasting.

cut a 2inch hole in the cabinet fit a rubber grommet and shove the pressure hose through .I just shove mine through the holes where the gloves supposed to be I just have some canvas slots in mine and use canvas gloves the 4inch woodchip fan can suck more air out of cabinet than the blast hose can put in

Cheers - have you removed the gun and fitted the nozzle directly into the end of the hose? I have a ball valve on the outlet from my compressor (within reaching distance of the cabinet) to the blasting pot so could do the same which would help with directing the hose in the cabinet.

I used a Metro gearstick gaiter where the hose goes into the cabinet.

The nozzle is just held in place in the end of the hose with a jubilee clip (Like in the photo above).

If I install the nozzle in the end of the hose as above and only have control of the air supply into the pot will the pot still pressurise?

As soon as I open the valve to allow air into the pot, air/grit will start to flow through the nozzle not allowing the pot to pressurise before use.

Sorry if it's a daft question!

It'll be fine. The thing that might go wrong is that grit will flow into the mixer and block it.
