Connecting Diesel compressor to small blasting pot

Hi New memeber here.
I have a 4hp compressor and 20 gallon blasting pot that work great. However I got the lend of a diesel Road compressor (trailer type) and would like ot hook it up to my blasting pot.

I was given a large blasting pot for the diesel compressor but it is worse for wear and there is damp glass inside which it will not push through.

So can I hook up the diesel compresor to my small red 20 gallon blasting pot as I need to do a chassis this week. Is there a downsizing connector or something.

The large pots normally have a access hole on the side so you may be able to get into it. Road compressor normally use claw type connectors so all you would need to do is fit one of them to you normal airline, depending on what you can get you hands on you may need a reducer which will be a standard stock at any hydraulic/pipe fitting place

just buy a c coupling with a tail on to suit your pipe size or a few bsp fittings to convert from the c claw here's one of mine give u the idea

Hope you have a decent water filter on the road comp or you'll have both pots gummed up with water

Hope you have a decent water filter on the road comp or you'll have both pots gummed up with water[/QUOTE]no need for water filters. just run the comp for 5 minutes with open hose and it gets hot then connect pot and run a few mins without grit all gets hot and no problem with water ive done it for years u cant get a filter that will keep water out at 90cfm till it gets hot
