Controls on Butters AW 251

I recently bought this Butters AW251, single phase Mig welder, and it seems fairly straight forward. I understand some of the control panel, but not the 2 knobs top right. They both click to "off" when fully turned anti-clockwise.
Please can someone explain what they do, and how I would use them?

That's the controls/time on/off for the Spot and Stitch function

Thanks, so for normal welding I run with both those turned off?

Yeah, that's correct.

Stitch is where you pull the trigger and the power will come on for however many seconds you have selected on that knob, so say you choose 2 seconds you pull the trigger, the power comes on for 2 seconds, off for 2 seconds and back on for two seconds etc etc whilst you have your finger on the trigger.
