Converting SIP Autoplus 130 to Euro Fitting

I recently aquired a SIP Autoplus 130 from @TheDevilsReject (http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/sip-autoplus-130-mig-welder-spares-or-repair.50381/) and was testing it last night. I've nailed it's erratic feed down to a combination of old liner and an electrical fault on the trigger wiring.

I can get a direct replacement for ~£55 but I can also convert to a Euro torch for a tenner more so that's what I want to do.

I'd like to support @weldequip as he's kind enough to help with this forum so I'm looking at the following two items to convert the SIP:

Does anyone have any experience with the Parweld torch mentioned? Is it a decent item and does it come with a metal liner?

The two plugs on the end of the Euro connector (http://www.weldequip.com/products/eurotorch-plug-body-large.jpg - the red ones), do they close the circuit between them or is one spare like in the SIP? Ie the circuit is returned via the power feed.

I've already converted the earth to a dinse 35/50 socket and it looks just the job I know it's a heavy socket for such a small MIG but my TIG set uses that size and I'm cheap so didn't want to have to buy another earth lead

That's the torch supplied with my Portamig 215, I've not had any problems with it and the liner as supplied to me is steel. Worth double checking with Weldequip first though. Might also be worth asking about the socket mounting flange as that doesn't seem to be included with the socket.

Is that the black plastic piece to the left of the wire speed knob in the attached photo?

That's the wrong part You need a euro SOCKET not a Euro PLUG ! That plug is what's on the end of a euro torch.

You will also need a gas valve of SUITABLE voltage.

You can get a kit INC the torch

This may not be the cheapest so search the bay or see if WeldEquip can do you a "kit"
Note 4 meter hose is not always the best on 0.6 wire as you may find the wire builds up pressure (compresses a bit like a spring) in the 4Mts. Less so in a 3Mt Ive just switch back to my 3mt as I was finding the 4mt done the above = poor welds/feed Better on 0.8 wire

Yeah I'd seen that exact kit on fleabay and it looked reasonable. I didn't want the 4m hose for the exact reason you say.

Shall drop weldequip an email and see what he says.

Just the standard hose and torch I presume. The torch looks like normal SIP stuff to me.
