Cooler pulsation damper

currently amassing bits to build a cooler for my tig. But I will need a pulsation damper.

To buy will be either large, or expensive, neither of these I want.

So I was thinking about two squash balls inside a machined champer / closed tube with an inlet only supply. Teed off the supply line.

Will it work, am i thinking jibberish.....discuss. Other ideas welcomed.

A damper has 1 job to do and that is to create a cushion to absorb the pulses created by the pump.
The simbols type commonly used in welders been the optimum design regarding compact size and effectiveness.
An air trap or sudden direction change can do a similar job. fuel pump accumulators work too.
