You never know unless you try mate, I only started metal art myself this yearI like things like that. I am no good at it. I can fix stuff and make things that are unbreakable by morons but I’ve no artistic talent whatsoever!!
what’s the plan with that? Pal worked with a guy who used to make them and then when he had a load, assemble them into a goose or a heron and sell them. He charged quite a bit

Not a criticism just an observation but the centre ridge should taper down to nothing as it gets towards the tip of the feather. It will give a much more delicate look.
