I was asked by a friend to make a copper rose last week. Started with 0.5mm copper sheet:
Cut out the petals and leaf:
then bashed with a cross pein hammer to get some texture:
soldered some bits of wire into a length of copper brake pipe to attach the foliage
photo of the finished flower:
then stuck some plastic leaves on and stuck it in the post, forgetting to take a photo first
fortunately the recipient sent me a photo when she got it:
and another pic that i uploaded then decided not to use...
