has only just arrived this afternoon, and have spent most of the evening turning a 4 draw filing cabinet into a 3D printer trolley,
But first impressions are =
1 .it looks very well-made.
2. they have improved the packaging so the feet don't break and its very well thought out, must be good as nothing has broken, even though FedEx delivered it up side down
3. Think they have changed the tape they use to hold the door closed with so it doesn't pull paint of the frame. has been a complaint on a lot of the un boxing vids.
4. its heavy 50kg but its nowhere near as big as the ones we use at work, i suppose its all down to what you are used to, to me its quite compact for what it can do.

Will try and give a bit more of an overview once i have had time to get it set up and use it a bit.

Have thought about that with the inertia of the print head, if it becomes a problem, will either fit solid feet to the cabinet and bulk up the top, or build a bespoke shelf for it to live on when i decide where its going to live.

I have the K1 max and it has been good but I ended up building a strong shelf for it as I could see it moving when is was printing at full speed

@ajlelectronics & @Olderisbetter just printed the 4 colour benchy and yes it does rattle about a bit, it will do for now, but may have to look at other stuff i have laying around to make a dedicated bench for it.
Even with it moving about i am seriously impressed with the speed and quality.
We have some much larger industrial units at work, and they dont work at half this speed.

Just completed the 4 colour benchy,
26mins including auto bed levelling.
only 3 minor things.
1. the adhesion layer has covered up the text on the bottom, not completely and could be picked out
2. there is a small and i do mean small about of banding on the black, but as the printer is shaking a tiny bit i can allow that.
3. there was one bit of stringing on the red between the bow and cabin.

But apart from those little things it has printed perfectly, all the overhangs and small details are excellent for a fast print.
to be able to print out of the box is very impressive. some machines at work that cost about 6x as much as this, are slower and no better print quality, they are much larger and some have duel print heads. but for a consumer machine, I'm

very happy.
Going to print the torture toaster next and see how it goes with dimensional accuracy.
