DA sander trouble

My da seems to be ok when when triggered but when I put the pad onto a surface it seems to almost stop. Is this a lack of supplied air?

what pressure are u running it at .what filters and size hose are u using allso length of pipe. is sander well lubricared before use

Compressor is running approx 6 bar (300ltr). Airline direct to DA from compressor. I put a little oil in this morning and tried. It was a little better not not significant. It is an old sander. Maybe it uses a lot of air as its not a new sander and may have done some 'milage' befor I got it recently. Using 8mm id rubber hose.
