Design request bait boxes.

Hi Guys.

I have purchased a covered box for fishing bait but it comes without boxes.

I am wondering if anyone who wants an and result project to design some boxes would like to have a go.
I will be having a go myself at the weekend but feel, although they look easy , they actually are not in reality. (well not for me anyway.)

Here is a photo of what the boxes should look like. The rounded top edges do help as it stops catching your wrists and fingers on sharp edges.

I will try and measure up the sizes needed if anyone fancies a go, but the large long box will need to be two shorter boxes as my printer won't print a full size one
4 and 3/4 square, 3 and a 1/2 High.

and the two long ones are 7 and a 1/2 by 4 and 3/4 wide also 3 and a 1/2 inches high

Not with the exact sizes and colours I need. Plus I want to try out Vase mode on the 3D printer.

Ah , now thats a different thing altogether ,,,

All you need to do with vase mode is decide on the dimensions and make a solid object to those sizes.

The hard part is getting your feeds and speeds right, along with temperature and nozzle size. Best results I have had is with a much bigger nozzle and a stupidly slow speed so the hot end can keep up. Get it wrong and you end up with a buckled out of shape object that pulls apart like a slinky.

LOL. Yeah, that's a vase mode print.

I did a load of inserts for my Bisley drawers, sized so they stack etc. Plus with longer boxes, you may need to include a "swage" to mitigate buckling on taller sides.
