Please can someone give me a bit of guidance?
Im a production mig welder and even though we use extraction i always prefer to wear a respirator face mask as without them i still end up breathing in some fumes and im sure they are not healthy.
I have the choice of a few but i have no idea what the various codes on the respirators mean, ie- which ones are best.
For example, my favoured one is, i believe, a respirator mainly used for paint sprayers and has the codes 3M 4251 CE0086. EN 405:2001
The cheaper looking respirator masks have 3M 9925 CE0086 EN149:2001
Finally, the third one has 3M 8300
Any advice would be appreciated.
