This isn't something I've had to do yet, but I happen to have one that the equipment it's part of has died, and I really can't be bothered extracting the battery, repackaging it and adding a standalone BMS to, especially since you can get an equivalent new battery for under £200.
So does anyone know if the local council tip will take them, as I want it away from cluttering up the workshop?
