I was working on a temporary site faraway from my workshop, where I had my bench grinder. I needed a small table grinder for grinding/polishing a big batch of relative small pieces, so I built this DIY "emergency" bench grinder. Returning back home and searching the forum, I found that there was a similar posting some years ago. As the thread was locked, I created this new one.
I used my Makita 125mm Angle grinder, in a Silverline Quick Release Vise 10cm (model 380956), that has plastic covers on jaws to prevent materials from scratches. Then I secured them on a 40mm thick bench using 2 100m G clamps.
