DIY Compressor

Hello,

I saw this compressor on the auction site Item number: 150784234127

My needs are for an engine driven compressor up to 100 cfm for blasting stuff, electrickery supply to us (way out in the country) is feeble.
What size engine would it need do you think, 30kw I think is about 40hp.?

I know I can get a towable, but they all look knackered up to 2k's worth.

That is just the air end, alot more stuff than the engine is needed to make it into a functioning compressor, expensive stuff !

i built a 90cfm compressor and used a 20hp twin lister engine and ran it for years . its still running now after selling it not literaly though

i just bought a road compressor, cheeper than the bits to diy it and much quicker
