Can anyone give me any info on these ?

Can only seem to to find reference to larger industrial units online.

The unit on the left is powered the other is not.

I have a 150l sip 3hp compressor and a 250l upright receiver. Can I take the feed from the compressor pump and run it through the dryer then back into the compressor receiver and the upright receiver to reduce water in the tanks?

I am then going to run a distribution circuit around the workshop in 10mm Nylon.

For your distributions i would 22mm pipe around the top with 15mm drop legs to point of use. I have done this and get good flow and no noticeable pressure drop, all tools I have used have been no problem.

if there anything like the units we have at work they use stupid amounts of air as as they back purge to dry the desiccant. we have a dry air receiver after the units to protect from pressure drop across unit bursting desiccant cartridge.

They are very effective though as we had miles of air pipes in our antenna field outside on air switches and they never froze

You might want to have a look at the PCL Dropout filter as an alternative. I have a Hydrovane 3HP with 250l storage.

I have a standard 10micron filter first and then the dropout and my air is totally dry and clear. Each outlet in the workshop also has water trap 1 micron filter and I never get a drop of moisture in them. I am using 8mm nylon pipe to run around the workshop to 4 outlets.

Yes just read the manual and it states they purge every 2 minutes !
One is a pneumatic purge the other is electrical.
They also say that the filters are good for around 10,000 hours,just as well as they are 60 quid a pop!

Will give them a try as I have them now .

Both will be pnuematically purged is the control of that which is either mechanical or electric (solenoid) If im honest these will kill your compressor as they use a percentage of your air to regenerate the dessicant bed so that it is ready to dry to air again and this uses a huge amount of compressed air. You would be 1000 times better off getting yourself a cheap refridgerant dryer from ebay as this will be more than good enough for what you need.

Also the filters on these are not rated for 10,000 hours, they are rated for either 4000 hours or yearly, whichever arrises first
