Drainage question - bottle gulley cover?

I have some 110mm 30 degree bends that I'd like to put a cover on.

The covers I'm considering are like this:

Can anyone tell me - do they fit over the outside of a pipe, or do they fit into a socket?

In other words - I have some of these double sockets:

But, do I need to get one of the single socket ones instead?

I'd ask the supplier, but it's Sunday, and I'm trying to get the order in today.

so are you using it as underground drainage or are you using it as sewer pipe

as you hadnt mentioned your intention of use

Neither. This is not connected in any way with drainage. I am using them for other purposes that don't involve liquid - but for which I would like a grill type cover.

All the ones I've used push into a socket, although they had a more distinctive lip than the one in your pic.

Some of the tumble drier/cooker hood vents are designed to push into a 110mm pipe.

Thanks chaps - this is what I have - we use them for dog training - but need to stop noses going right inside.

(I also sell them - so don't want something cobbled together.)

An ordinary stack vent is a good fit on the end of 110mm pipe, can be glued/solvent welded.

I don't recall ever seeing exactly what your looking for. I can only ever recall seeing the item you want but solid or a piece in-between pipe/socket and grate that's slightly larger than the pipe if this is a problem

Thanks - but it needs to be flush with the top of the pipe. It also needs to be removable, so the scent hidden in th epipe can be changed/removed.

No - to be fair, I hadn't until Mrs B told me about them this morning, and how she MUST have them NOW for a customer that MIGHT want them next week......

So having established they're a bottle gully cover, let Dr Google works his magic, and I arrived where you find me now - with a collection of covers for 110mm pipes - but no specific information on fitting - It would of course be completely obvious with one in my hands....

id go with 8obs first reference as that one would be easiest to fit and remove when needed

you can also get them in round

the plug will go tight even over night as the seals seal to it

Worth a trip to a local builder's merchants. There will probably be something to suit and you'll be able to try it out there and then. You might even be able to use a different setup altogether - those elbows are expensive and a 110mm square collector with a removable grate might have all you need in one product.

Bit more effort on your behalf but would a permanent end cap with holes drilled in it work.
If you made a template probably with a piece of wood then the holes would be uniformly distributed

Perhaps, but this is likely to be a case where buying the appropriate product will work out looking better, and probaably a lot cheaper if I factor in my time that I can spend making the things I can't buy for £1.90.
