Does any one have experience of the Brennenstuhl 20m profi hose from MM
I was wondering if it was easy to unroll and roll up again or if you had to take the pressure out first? Can you just leave it pressured?
I also wondered what is the general life of an air hose. I noticed that my Sealey AH15R/38 15m hose is shows small cracks across the hose when you bend it. It stays inside out of the sunlight except when being used and it is put away rolled up in about 1m diameter and hung on a hook. I thought it should have lasted way longer but when I looked it up it is about 5.5 years old so maybe that it what you should expect except I have some other hoses which are obviously older and appear to be in better condition
When hoses fail do they usually go with a bang or a whimper?
Any suggestions what to get. I need about 20 to 25m of hose for the times I need outside air, mostly for general tyre use. I do find the 15m sealey tedious to get out and put away again. How do other people handle this. I did wonder about having a number of smaller hoses (bewtween 5 - 10m) and joining them together but I guess too many fittings (1/4 pcl) would be bad for airflow if I did want to use something with heavy consumption on the end of the line. Also I find that joined hoses seem to have a habit of popping apart as you move the hose around.
