DTI types and selection

Hi all

so I run a 2.5mtr promecam Pressbrake which has an adjustable intermediary like so in effect you undo the two Allen bolts and tap the wedge to adjust.

When I first got the Pressbrake I had it serviced and the guy stripped all the tooling and placed a dti on the base and then could reference and adjust as needed.

I’d really like to be able to do the same (I’ve done thousands of parts in the year!)

but I’m confused at all the different styles, types and bases

Range only needs to be 10mm and accuracy 0.01mm can anyone link me to what I’d need the holder and the gauge itself?

Dti/test indicator usually means the lever type, dial gauge for the plunger.

Lever types have small range 0.2-0.8mm. You can move the lever to suit but it should start parallel witth the direction of measurement.
Plungers can have much bigger range, but are a pain to get in bores or funny angles
