it dont matter how large your comp is if u were using a 3mm nozzle 24cfm would be enough to run it at 90psi if u want to get anywhere fast a 6mm nozzle running at 90psi with .75 to 1.5mm grit would work fine for making a proffit but thats the starting point. i did hundreds of them and earned some decent cash anything less and its for hobby usei've just got my first job in and it's not going
well,i've got a 40 cfm compressor,a tungston nozzle
and a ebay pot it's took 6 hour's to do 4 steel
wheels and charged 40 quid.am i doing something
wrong or should it take that long.
i did the full wheel.
cheer's,john.
been there done it and got the tee shirt : i copied my pot of a clemco minipot 30 years ago . ive built 5 and sold 3 of them there excelent pots and reliable , the cheap potsuse a ball valve for regulating the flow of grit and are prone to blockage and iregular flow .sand valves are bestto be honest i thought my gear was too small
i was hoping to earn a bit of money and buy
a proper clemco pot but at this rate it's a
bit disheartening
