Equipment Recomendations Please

Hi all

I have got a placement on a welding course and i need to supply some overalls and a welding mask if i have one.

I have an auto darkening one which i got from Cromwell similar to this one http://www.cromwell.co.uk/KEN8855060K

The only problem i have with this one is the other day whilst using it it kept flashing on and off whilst TIG welding. Can anyone recommend one that will be suitable for both MIG and Tig?

I prefer a Bib and Brace to boiler suit but I'm not sure how practical this would be whilst welding, dose anyone else wear one and what do you wear under it at the top whilst welding?

Overalls are deffinatly the way forward for welding. Try and get hold of a pair of cotton ones, rather than polyester or other 'plastic' fibres.
They dont cost hardly anything more.
Better still, a pair of Dickies FR, or Bizweld ones. About £20 a pair.
