Erbauer EXT Angle Grinder

Bought myself a new toy the other day! Had a comparison with the Milwaukee offering & for slightly less with a battery I decided to give the Erbauer offering a go

Comes with a 4ah battery for £112

Will give you a further update as time goes on, But initial impressions seem good

Erbauer stuff I've bought has been pretty good...bit bulky but perfectly capable.

I gave these a serious looking at but decided against in the end. Would be interesting to see how they hold up with real world use

My Makita has the same mesh vent system, not sure how effective it is

I'm more of a DIY user I must admit @Kayos, But will definitely give it a good run for it's money!

The build quality seems pretty decent tbh

I'm all in with Dewalt in terms of having all their batteries and chargers so basically my shopping priority is Dewalt first and then if Dewalt don't do one I look at other brands.

Very happy with the Dewalt grinder, impact gun and also their die grinder. Their "attempt" at a trimmer is a joke!

^^ Sorry strimmer ....bloomin spell check! Their strimmer is hopeless...the cutting cord just gets jammed up all the time and it's a right faff to sort it out.

Their router is very good too....all their drills too are excellent. They do a nice angled drill too which is really handy to get into tight corners especially with a cut down drill bit.

Really.
Had the strimmer for two years. It's been reloaded with cord 5 or 6 times (autofeed)
And not had a jam.
Occasionally cut the cord right by the exit requiring a quick rethread.
Found it as good as I've for normal garden use. Wouldn't want one for brush cutting.

Was pleased they out a decent autofeed on it.

I think you got the good one....the new one is pants. My brother has the older one and he recommended it to me. I think they changed the feeder....maybe I can upgrade to the old feeder which can still be bought on eBay. The better feeder had 2 rolls for the cord...the cheap mans version has 1 roll to feed both bits of cord...as you'd expect it gets into a right mess!

Indeed. Two Channel's for cord on mine.
Well worth the downgrade.

Yes forensics can't get finger prints off the plastic and the box is what attracts the light fingered brigade

I probably won't be running round with it in the case, But good for storing it away.
