Hi everyone been lurking for a little while and thought I would join in, and if I'm being honest I need to start asking questions and learning! I have been able to weld (stick bits of metal together) for a while with both mig and stick and nothin has fallen apart......................yet! I very recently managed to get my hands on a ClassicMig 200 for £300, not even had a full role of wire through it yet. I bought it for the company I was working for, they then payed off the only two people who could weld, myself and Jim, so I offered to buy it from them and got it at a bargain price (with a large gas bottle that they are still paying rental on)
I am more used to working with the wee clarke welders but this thing blows them away. It might not be the best in the world but for what I do it is more than adequate. Anyway enough rambling, just wanted to say hi before I started posting for advise in the other forums on my first two projects, I hope to get lots of good feedback and advise, and being a member on here
