Just tripped over this forum while getting some background info etc on different migs, and some non biased info on which one would suit my needs best. Perfect :0)
I'm very familiar with many forums and have always found them to be THE most informative places available to learn things. I'm sure this one will be the same.
Going to be buying a mig fairly soon hopefully, with the main uses being building bumpers / racks etc for my Jeeps. With the price of these things on the market today, it won't take long to pay for the investment in my own gear ;0) Haven't welded since doing brazing on auto body stuff back in the day (when dinosaurs roamed ;0) and have never mig'ed before but am looking forward to getting back into metal work and learning.
